The immune sera from this collection consist in polyclonal sera obtained from different animal species (rabbit, goat, mouse, rat, guinea pig) and towards several bacterial and viral antigens. They have been produced with antigens mostly purified and have a specificity panel available at the facility where they have been produced.
It is impossible to describe the characteristics of each product in a concise leaflet, therefore the available summary indicates only the species used to produce the sera and the antigen towards which it has been produced.
In the case of interest for any of these products please clearly specify in the request the characteristics of the product and the methods in which they are to be used.
The available quantities are rather limited since these products are mostly the result of research activity.
Quality management system

BIOBANK infrastructure of IZSLER has the mission of collecting all biological resources submitted to purity and identity controls, stored in different laboratories. It is difficult to get from others biological samples with known characteristics except for those that are obtained from certified Centres.
To cover this gap all biological resources collected at IZSLER biobank have been controlled and characterised by standard protocols to have detailed information on their main features. These data are included in a data base published in this web site.
Biobank infrastructure is made from best of breed technology to preserve all biological resources stored by IZSLER laboratories.
