The immune sera from this collection consist in polyclonal sera obtained from different animal species (rabbit, goat, mouse, rat, guinea pig) and towards several bacterial and viral antigens. They have been produced with antigens mostly purified and have a specificity panel available at the facility where they have been produced.
Quality controls
It is impossible to describe the characteristics of each product in a concise leaflet, therefore the available summary indicates only the species used to produce the sera and the antigen towards which it has been produced.
The available quantities are rather limited since these products are mostly the result of research activity.
Quality management system
IZSLER laboratories, that supply biological resources to IBVR, use testing methods performed according to UNI EN ISO/IEC 17025 Quality System.
